“Save More Than Fuel”: European petroleum industry partners with the European Commission in pan-European consumer campaign

May 27, 2008 - Forty oil companies in Europe have joined forces to run a consumer-awareness campaign on the efficient use of transport fuels. The campaign proposes ten tips on how to drive more efficiently and will help motorists to save fuel and reduce their carbon footprint.

January 2008 - ExxonMobil Chemical announced that its new battery film technology will be an integral part of Electrovaya’s new all electric vehicles. Exxon Mobil Corp. announces third quarter 2007 results

November 2, 2007 - IRVING, Texas - ExxonMobil's third quarter net income was $9,410 million ($1.70 per share), down 10% from the third quarter of 2006. The decrease reflected lower downstream and chemical margins partly offset by higher crude oil realizations. Net income of $28,950 million for the first nine months of 2007 was $300 million lower than the record first nine months of 2006. Read more 

ExxonMobil Chemical Announces Expansion at Its Rotterdam Aromatics Plant

September 25, 2007 - ExxonMobil Chemical today announced it will invest in an expansion of its Rotterdam Aromatics Plant. The expansion will make this world-scale plant ExxonMobil’s largest paraxylene production facility, increasing its paraxylene production capacity by 25 percent and benzene production capacity by 20 percent. 

Exxon Mobil Corporation Announces Estimated Second Quarter 2007 Results

August 1, 2007 - IRVING, Texas - ExxonMobil's second quarter net income was $10,260 million. Earnings per share were up 6% from the second quarter of 2006. Lower natural gas realizations were mostly offset by higher refining, marketing and chemical margins. Record first half net income of $19,540 million increased by 4% versus 2006 and 12% on an earnings per share basis over the first half of 2006. Read more 

Meeting Global Energy Needs and Addressing Climate Change Risks

ExxonMobil Chemical to Expand Hydrocarbon Fluids Capacity in Antwerp, Belgium
